Kampala Old Boys (KOBS) Rugby Club have today launched their new team jersey, supported by their title partner, KCB Bank Uganda.

The new jersey features KCB Bank Uganda’s distinctive branding, symbolizing a strengthened collaboration as the club continues its campaign for the 2025 season, which kicked off on January 11.

As part of this development, KCB Bank Uganda has provided a second sponsorship package of UGX 195 million for the year. Of this amount, UGX 50 million was allocated for the procurement of the kit.

The jersey will debut in the upcoming matches, representing a new chapter of collaboration and success for the team.

Dr. Luggya Tonny Stone, Chairman of KCB-KOBS RFC, emphasized the jersey’s significance: “This new jersey represents more than just a uniform; it embodies the spirit and resilience of our team and, most importantly, our peer-to-peer brand confidence. We are grateful to KCB Bank Uganda for their unwavering support and belief in our vision.”

Diana Komukama Ssempebwa, KCB Bank Uganda’s Head of Marketing and Communications, reaffirmed the bank’s dedication to sports development in Uganda: “Our partnership with KOBS Rugby Club highlights our commitment to fostering sports growth. We are proud to see our brand represented on the kit and look forward to celebrating the team’s successes this season.”
