The 5th edition of the Kyambogo University reunion rugby match will be played this Saturday at the East End pitch at the institute’s main Campus in Banda, Kampala.
The event is aimed at celebrating rugby excellence at the University that has produced many rugby players.
“The main motive behind this event is to continue supporting the growth of rugby in Kyambogo and the neighboring community,” Ivan Semuwemba, who is the event coordinator noted.
The alumni team will showcase against the students select side in an epic rugby clash that will be graced by Uganda Rugby Union (URU) officials, Dean of Students, alumni, students and various stake holders.
The alumni-students match will be played at 4: 30pm. Alumni team habors great stars like; Allan Otim, Patrick Leku, Baron Kasozi, Kevin Makmot and the like.
The team will be captained by Africa Rugby champion Brian Tabaruka.
The university team is also looking sharp and the likes of Kevin Balagade, Moses Tumusime, Alhaji Manano and Philip Muhoozi.
