Uganda Cranes Head Coach Johnathan Mckinstry on Thursday morning named his squad for Match Day Three and Four of the 2021 AFCON Qualifiers double-header against South Sudan.

The 20-man team is composed of only foreign based players but a few local based players will also be included prior to game day.

“In addition to the list of foreign based players, a further selection of Uganda Premier League (UPL) players will be added to the final squad following further assessment of their current preparedness by the national team technical staff,” a statement attached to the squad sheet read.

UPL players have been inactive since March hence it might be only some of those who participated in the recent Cranes Dubai camp to be called up.

Uganda Cranes will host South Sudan on 12th November 2020 before traveling for the away match a few days later.

The Squad.
Denis Onyango, Salim Jamal Magoola, Joseph Ochaya, Alex Kakuba, Nicholas Wadada, Elvis Bwomono, Ronald Mukiibi, Timothy Awany, Michael Azira, Khalid Aucho, Luwagga Kizito, Farouk Miya, Emmanuel Okwi, Derick Nsibambi, Allan Kyambadde, Allan Okello, Fahad Bayo, Edrisa Lubega, Uche Ikpeazu and Alexis Bbakka.
