Teenager Hassan Mubiru has signed for 5-years with Uganda Premier League side KCCA FC from 2023 – 2028.
Mubiru who won the CECAFA U17 Championship with Uganda Cubs in 2019 is a winger with quick feet and can play on either flanks.
The 19 year old who is a former player at Express FC says that he is happy to sign with the Lugogo based outfit and is eager to leave a mark.
“I am delighted to put pen to paper for this great club. This is one of the biggest clubs in the CECAFA region and it is every young player’s dream to play for a team like this. I want to give my all for this club and I want to win so many titles here,” Mubiru told the club website.
“The club has welcomed me well and I know a number of players because we have played school and youth football together. This will help me settle in quickly and play.
He will be competing for a spot in the squad with the likes of Kagawa Ssenoga, Julius Poloto and Rogers Mato among other players.
Mubiru was part of the Uganda Hippos side that was summoned in preparation for AFCON U20 tournament that will be held in Egypt this month.
