Practice Match
Thursday result
Uganda Cranes 1-0 URA
Uganda Cranes interim coach Abdullah Mubiru believes his charges were given real time by URA FC during the practice match at the StarTimes stadium, Lugogo in a practice match.
Vipers SC new signing Allan Kayiwa scored the only goal in the 12th minute off Patrick Kaddu’s ball. Allan Kyambadde had earlier tested goalkeeper Nafian Alionzi.

The Tax Collectors were blunt upfront but Mubiru believes the practice match gave him a picture of the Cranes shape.
“It was a good test for us. URA pushed us and there are positives we have picked. We are not worried about the missed chances. We played according to plan. We shall go back and try to rectify the mistakes committed,” noted Mubiru, whose side is preparing for the 2020 Championship of African Nations (CHAN) qualifier game against Somalia at the Al Hajji Hussein Guled stadium in Djibouti on July 27, 2019 before the return leg in Kampala a week later.
The Cranes entered residential camp on Thursday before travelling to Hoima where they will play another friendly game against Kitara region select side on Saturday at Boma grounds.
