Proline vs Maroons, Lugogo (Live on Sanyuka TV)

In-form Steven Mukwala will again be the influential player for Maroons as they raid bottom placed side Proline this Tuesday in the StarTimes Uganda premier league only fixture on card at the StarTimes stadium, Lugogo. The striker, on loan from Vipers SC, is currently leading scorers log with 9 goals, 1 behind joint second Fahad Bayo and Ben Ocen of Vipers SC and Police respectively.  This fixture was supposed to be played at the end of last month but the hosts, who are languishing at the foot of the log with only five points, were still in CAF Confederation Cup before they were eliminated by Al-Nasr of Libya. The Uganda Cup holders are unbeaten in their last three games; drawing twice against Busoga and BUL whilst wining against fellow struggling Bright Stars. The Matia Lule side was docked six points but ahead of unpredictable Maroons, they are boosted by the return of play maker who missed BUL encounter while goal keeper Hassan Matovu who saved the penalty against BUL will also be key alongside Edris Lubega and Hakim Kiwanuka, who scored in their last win against Bright Stars that are tasked for goals. Maroons sit seventh with 19 points from 13 games and can move a place up with victory. Coached by Douglas Bamweyana, the side visits Lugogo on the back of 4-game unbeaten run where they have beaten Police and drawn their last three. The Prison Wardens are likely to miss Olinga, Walusimbi, Bronson Nsubuga and Opio Belmos due to injuries while Bwogi Edgar may recover from Malaria in time for tie.

2011/12
