The StarTimes Uganda Premier league continues this Friday with two fixtures on card on match day three. Wakiso Giants hope to continue with an exciting home record when they host injured Tooro United at the Wakisha resource center, Wakiso.

Tooro United are from a 1-0 away win over Vipers in a game where their coach Wasswa Bbosa was sent off by referee Brian Nsubuga Miiro after he had earlier controversially sent off Vipers SC left back Farouk Musisi.

Bbosa will thus not be on the bench as he serves out his two match ban. The Purple Sharks, who will miss their skipper Yasin Mugabi after getting off injured against URA, on the other hand were 3-1 winners against URA FC, who host Kyetume at Namboole stadium seeking redemption.

“We are not thinking about the URA game. In football, history does not win the next game. We are focused ahead of Tooro United clash, they are hungry for points having lost their last fixture but we are equally hungry and ready to play for victory,” noted Kefa Kisala, the Wakiso Giants Coach. URA have boosted their squad with the signing of forward Micheal Birungi on a two-year deal from Express.

New comers Kyetume fell to Maroons 1-0 in the last game but will look up to former URA players; Robert Sentongo, Patrick Ochan and Julius Ntambi. Cephas Kambugu, who scored this season’s first goal against SC Villa in the league opener, captain Vincent Kayizzi are Jonathan Mugabi are also reliable forces for the George Nsimbe side but will miss goal keeper Joel Mutakubwa, who went with Uganda Cranes to Nairobi, Kenya for an international friendly due this Sunday and Salim Sowed will thus come to replace Mutakubwa in goal.

After two games, Wakiso Giants are 7th on log with 3 points bettering Tooro United with just a goal below them.

URA are 5th while Kyetume are 10th with leaders Vipers SC, BUL and KCCA as the only sides with 100% wining start.
