National Basketball League (NBL) outfit KIU Titans have announced the signing of Oscar Muge.

Muge returns to Titans on a two-year deal after spending last year with JKL Dolphins.

“I am happy to be back here. I was here for four years and this is like home to me. I have been working individually and the goal is to go that extra mile and hopefully win it all,” said Oscar Muge.

During his first run with Titans, the 6’6” centre led the team to the National Basketball League finals in 2017 with his scoring, rebounding and shot blocking.

“The team has its own goal which is known, and as a player the target is to win the championship this 2021 season. I feel I have the same energy that I had before and this time that I have been not playing league basketball I have been doing my personal training and I believe I’m ready for this coming season,” Muge added.

During his first stint with KIU Titans, Muge played for the club from 2016 to 2019.

Earlier this month, small forward Denis Balungu returned to Titans after spending last year with Betway Power while power forward Moreen Atulinda returned to KIU female side, Rangers after spending the previous two seasons with Women’s NBL title holders JKL Lady Dolphins.
