The coordinators behind the 2024 Uganda Golf Club (UGC) Lady Captain’s Prize are diligently gearing up for what promises to be a truly extraordinary event. Anticipating the enthusiastic participation of a substantial number, they are expecting over 200 golfers to partake in the upcoming tournament slated for Saturday, 16th March at UGC’s par-72 course in Kitante.

On Tuesday, the commencement of the tournament was officially initiated by the leadership of the UGC Ladies section, accompanied by representatives from the tournament’s sponsors.

Wendy Angudeyo, having been reelected as Lady Captain of UGC just last week, shared with the media her expectation of a fully booked course on Saturday. As of press time, the volume of entries had already surpassed expectations, indicating an overwhelming response from participants.
