Paidha Black Angels 0-2 KCCA
Ndejje University 3-0 Nyamityobora
Police 2-1 Onduparaka
Paidha Black Angels FC became the first team to get relegated from the StarTimes Uganda premier league following their 2-0 home loss at KCCA FC on Tuesday. The West Nile side that earned promotion last season will now play in the second tier FUFA Big League next season. Goals from Muzamiru Mutyaba and Patrick Henry Kaddu sunk the Zombo-based club with four league games to the end of the season. Paidha Black Angels have 12 points and can only manage a maximum of 12 from the remaining four games that puts them on 24 points, two less than Maroons who are 13th on the log to survive. Paidha have endured a woeful spell in their debut season in the top flight, registering only two wins from the 26 games so far, drawing six times and losing 18 in the process. They have also scored the least goals (15) whilst conceded most goals (45). The other two sides in the red zone are Ndejje University (24 points) that beat fellow relegation bound Nyamityobora (17 points) 3-1 at home on Tuesday with goals from Robert Eseru and Isaac Kisujju whilst Joseph Akandwanaho getting Nyamityobora consolation.
