Express 1-0 BUL
Vipers SC hope to put their premier league title defense worries aside as they visit FUFA Big League side Proline FC this Tuesday afternoon in the 2018/19 Stanbic Uganda Cup quarter final at StarTimes stadium, Lugogo in pursuit of a maiden season double.

The Venoms failed to land the feat last season after winning the Premier league and losing at the Cup final 1-0 to KCCA FC in Bukedea.
A win will see Vipers storm the last four to join Bright Stars, Nebbi and Express that beat BUL 1-0 on Monday at Betway Muteesa II stadium, Wankulukuku courtesy of Brian Umony’s second minute goal.
Vipers who are four points behind leaders KCCA in the Premier league with seven games to go come off a 2-1 away league loss last time out and will miss injured Geoffrey Wasswa, Livingstone Mulondo and goalkeeper Bashir Sekagya.
Proline Coach Shafik Bisaso predicted a turf challenge from the experienced visitors, whom he gave the favorite tag.
“Vipers are the favorites but we shall not fear that despite having respect for them. They play in the top tier and we play in the second division but that does not mean that we shall not compete. We want to go as far as we can and I expect an entertaining encounter; actually the best quarter final fixture,” noted Bisaso, who is boosted by the return of striker Ivan Bogere and midfielder Sam Kintu.
Left back Hakim Sekitto is injured while Joshua Okiror has just returned in training. Proline ejected Onduparaka while Vipers edged FUFA Big league side Kiboga Young courtesy of Karim Ndugwa only goal of the match at Kitende.
