Cricket Cranes (Uganda men’s national cricket team) batsman Simon Ssesazi on Thursday posted 100 runs against Tanzania during the T20 Tri-Nation Cup at Gahanga Stadium in Kigali, Rwanda.
It was the first T20 international century for Cricket Cranes and Ssesazi’s triple digits came from 58 deliveries that resulted into 13 boundaries that included 2 sixes. Ssesazi was named man of the match.
However, Uganda won the game by 7 runs after posting 183/5 against Tanzania’s 176/all out. The result means Uganda wins the Tri-Nation Tournament with two matchdays to spare.

The Cricket Cranes have now won 8 out of their 10 games with an earlier loss to Tanzania and a no result to give them a total collection of 17 points in the 3-nation tournament.
