Zana High School 19-year old winger, Baker Sakah has joined Uganda Premier League side Express FC on a four-year deal, the club confirmed on Friday.
The teenage winger who can play on both flanks using either feet becomes the club’s seventh new signing this window after earlier arrivals of Cryspus Kusiima and Denis Otim both goalkeepers, center back Richard Bbosa, creative midfield gem Abel Eturude and forward Kiragga Mustafa.
Sakah has lauded the club for giving him the opportunity to play for them and has vowed to return the favor.
“Firstly, I would like to thank the club for giving me this opportunity, for me it’s a dream come true and my biggest achievement in my career so far,” Sakah told the club media.
“I know what’s at stake and I can’t wait to get dirty, the fans should expect hard work and consistency when,” Sakah added.
Express, six time league winners are preparing for the upcoming football season which is scheduled to begin on 17th October 2020, if government reinstates competitive play which is currently on a halt as a preventative measure against COVID-19.
