Two StarTines Uganda Premier League matches have been cleared to be played under floodlights starting this weekend.
The matches are; Vipers SC vs Blacks Power scheduled for 8th April 2023 (7 PM) at St Mary’s Stadium Kitende and KCC FC vs UPDF scheduled for 9th April, 2023 (6 PM) at MTN Omondi Staidum.
However, the FUFA Club Licensing Committee will make a report after these matches to form the basis of further matches to be played under flood lights at these stadiums. Any match under flood lights thereafter on any stadium in the territory of Uganda shall be held in accordance with the regulations to be published in the due course.
The FUFA Club Licensing Committee (FCLC) is the body mandated to ensure compliance to the regulations governing hosting of all matches (day and under floodlights).
