Uganda Cranes Head Coach Paul Put has revealed a 26-man provisional squad to prepare for the African Nations Championship (CHAN) 2024 qualifiers against Burundi.
The two-leg showdown is set for December 26 and 29, 2024, with both matches scheduled to be held at the Hamz Stadium, Nakivubo.
Although Uganda, Kenya, and Tanzania have already secured their spots in the CHAN 2024 tournament as host nations, Burundi is vying for the fourth and final slot allotted to the East African region.
The Cranes will begin non-residential training on December 21, before transitioning into a residential camp at Nob View Hotel on December 25.
The CHAN 2024 tournament is slated to run from February 1 to February 28, 2025.
