Uganda Hippos final squad for AFCON U20 named

Uganda Hippos (U20) head coach Jackson Mayanja has named the final squad to Egypt ahead of the U20 AFCON tournament.

The squad skippered by Isma Mugulusi is composed of 25 players with three goalkeepers and 22 outfield players.

The team conducted its last training on Friday morning at the MTN Omondi Stadium, Lugogo.

The Hippos are expected to fly out on Saturday evening to Egypt and where a couple of friendly matches will be played.

The tournament will take place between 19th February to 11th March in Egypt with The Hippos pitted in Group B along Congo Brazaville, Central African Republic and South Sudan.
