Uganda Hockey Association (UHA) has secured a partnership with Jibu Water as the national senior sides gear up for the Africa Cup of Nations (ACN) slated for January 17-23 at the Theodosia Okoh Hockey Stadium in Accra, Ghana.
“Uganda Hockey is pleased to announce partnership with Jibu Water as the Official Water Provider of the National Hockey Teams, the Hockey Cranes,” the local governing body of the game confirmed via a missive on Tuesday.
“This partnership comes at a crucial time as the teams prepare for the 2022 Africa Cup of Nations, and is a true testament to the growth of Uganda Hockey, harnessing the values of both brands, championing the empowerment for growth of opportunities in communities,” another part of the missive read.
Jibu will quench the teams both in the ongoing trainings and even during the event proper in Accra.
Allan Wangolo, Marketing Manager Jibu Water says that they’re glad to be part of Uganda Hockey journey to the nation’s meet.

“We are excited to be part of this journey. We want to move with the team in every aaspect. We shall offer the team unlimited amount of water and we’re hoping to do a lot together,” Walongo said.
Uganda Hockey is set to have both the men’s and women’s teams take part in the continental showpiece. The sides have been training at the National Hockey Stadium, Lugogo and now the sessions are heading into the final bend with tacticians having trimmed the squads.
