Uganda Cranes vs Somalia
1st Leg: 26th – 28th July 2019 – Mogadishu
2nd Leg: 2nd – 4th August 2019 –Kampala
Confederation of Africa Football (CAF) has confirmed that Uganda Cranes will play Somalia in the Championship of African Nations (CHAN) 2020 qualifiers.
Uganda had been scheduled to play South Sudan but after withdraw of Ethiopia as hosts; Uganda will take on Ethiopia with the first leg scheduled for between July 26-28 in Mogadishu while the second leg will be played between August 2-4 in Kampala.
The aggregate winner over the two legs faces the victors between Burundi and South Sudan at the second round.
CHAN is an exclusive tournament for local-based players in respective domestic leagues of their countries.
