She Corporates goalkeeper Vanessa Karungi has joined Danish side Boldklubben AF 1893.
Karungi is understood to have signed a one-year loan deal with an option of signing on a permanent basis.
The Shot stopper traveled to Denmark on Tuesday morning aboard Turkish Airlines.
She Corporates confirmed the development on Tuesday morning.
“After nearly five years of playing for her Childhood Club, We are saying farewell to Our Captain Vannesa Edith Karungi who has travelled today morning to join B93 Copenhagen Women Football Club in Denmark. Thank you for Everything Captain.” Read a statement from She Corporates.
At her new home, Karungi will link up with fellow Ugandan Natasha Shirazi.
Karungi featured for She Corporates in the just concluded FUFA Women Super League at Njeru.
She has also previously played for Olila Girls High from 2016 to 2018 before returning to She Corporates.
In 2017 the Karungi was named USPA Female Footballer of the year, best Goalkeeper in FUFA Women’s Cup and best goalkeeper in the National Ball Games held in Kabale.
