Brian Umony Foundation will join the rest of the world to celebrate the Day of African Child on Saturday, 15th June 2019. The Brian Umony foundation will conduct Charity activities at Bukoto Health Centre and Mulimira Zone (Bukoto, Nakawa Division) in Kampala.

The Foundation, which is an initiative of Uganda Cranes player Brian Umony, will distribute Mama Kits, clean Bukoto Health Centre and also conduct football clinics with a local club from Mulimira Zone.

The theme for this year’s course is: ‘Humanitarian Action in Africa: Children’s Rights First’ and the Foundation CEO Peter Tabu revealed that the Saturday events are in line with humanitarian objectives.

“The foundation’s core value is to help the underprivileged. Having traversed different parts of the country helping out the needy, we thought it was right to also give back to Bukoto,” Tabu noted.

He said that counselors will speak to the youth in regards to various aspects of life –including making the best choices.

National Council of Sports (NCS), Radio City, Bet Lion and Skool INFO are the partners of this humanitarian course.

Umony featured for Express FC last season after return from a long career threatening injury. He has also featured for KCCA FC, Super Sport (South Africa), Port Land Timbers (USA), St George (Ethiopia), Gokulam Kerala (India) and the Uganda Cranes.
