-Police FC 6-1 MYDA FC
-BUL FC 0-1 Busoga United
-UPDF FC 2-1 Kitara FC

The Uganda Premier League match-day 20 continued with five fixtures on Saturday.

At Kavumba, Bright Stars FC held title hopefuls URA FC to a goalless draw.

Despite being the better side and creating more chances, URA could not find a breakthrough.

Shafiq Kagimu came closest to scoring for Sam Simbwa’s but could not beat Simon Tamale in the host’s goal.

The draw sees URA climb on top of the table with 44 points, one ahead of Vipers SC in second.

At Kakyeka, Henry Kitegenyi scored deep into added time to see Mbarara City FC beat SC Villa 2-1.

Mbarara had earlier taken a 9th minute lead through Jude Ssemugabi before Emmanuel Wasswa equalised on 55 minutes.

Villa have now gone four matches without victory and still sit in 6th on the standings.

In Lugogo, Police FC thumped MYDA 6-1 to climb into 4th with 37 points.

Brian Mululi and Ben Ocen each scored twice while Muwadda Mawejje and Frank Tumwesigye added the other goals for Police.

Substitute Moses Batali scored MYDA’s only goal on the day.

At Bombo, UPDF FC held off a late surge by Kitara to win the game 2-1.

Brian Kayanja opened the scoring on two minutes before Charles Ssebutinde put UPDF on their way to victory with a second eight minutes to the break.

Kitara who have won just a single game all season, improved in the second half and saw Natahn Oloro dispatch a penalty to pull one back but the goal was not enough to salvage anything as they ended up losing the contest.
