URA FC have have confirmed the capture of goal keeper Samuel Mwaka from Kyadondo County Team as they continue with their spending spree in this transfer window ahead of the 2019/20 season.

The 22-year old signed a five-year deal to join Mikidad Ssenyonga and Ivan Sserubiri who also crossed from the Airtel-Masaza Cup – the popular Buganda kingdom inter-county football tournament.

Ssenyonga and Sserubiri are featuring for Busiro but they are playing in their final year of the tournament after staying taking part in five maximum editions for a player.

The tax collectors, who have so far made nine signings, also signed Douglas Kisembo, Brian Majwega, Ashraf Mandela, Ntege Anwaru Mustafa, Ivan Ntege and Hassan Kalega while Paul Patrick Mbowa and skipper Shafik Kagimu renewed their contracts for two and three years respectively.

URA, who lost 1-0 to Uganda Cranes CHAN team on Thursday, will play Mbarara City in the first opening round of the 2019 Pilsner Super 8 tournament at Kakyeka stadium on July 27 before Proline hosts Vipers SC three days later in Lugogo.

Wakiso Giants will hosts holders KCCA on August 1 while Onduparaka hosts Tooro United in Arua on August 4 in the similar season precursor tournament sponsored by Pilsner lager.
