Ugandan football giants Vipers SC and SC Villa will renew their intense rivalry in the Stanbic Uganda Cup after being drawn against each other in the quarterfinals during a draw held today at Kansai Plascon headquarters in the Industrial Area, Kampala.
The highly anticipated fixture will see Vipers host SC Villa at St. Mary’s Stadium, Kitende. The two clubs have already clashed in the Uganda Premier League this season, each securing a win at home, adding more heat to this decisive cup encounter.
Between them, the clubs boast a rich history in the tournament, with SC Villa having lifted the Uganda Cup nine times, while Vipers have won it on four occasions.
In other quarterfinal matchups, KCCA FC will travel to Ntungamo to face FUFA Big League side Kaaro Karungi. Kitara FC will take on BUL FC at Butema Grounds, and Police FC will host Big League outfit Kataka FC.
FUFA competitions director Aisha Nalule confirmed that the quarterfinal ties will be played between April 18 and April 22, 2025.
