Vipers, Hima Cement to renew partnership

Vipers SC and Hima Cement are set to announce a new partnership after conclusion of contract renewal negotiations.

According to Charles Mugasa, the Hima Marketing and sponsorship boss, the new deal will be announced any time with a bigger and better offer to the three-time Uganda champions.

Hima Cement signed a two-year deal with the Venoms as shirt sponsors in October 2016 worth Shs632m and the club’s Head of marketing, Simon Sekankya says that the partnership has been extremely exciting and looks forward to a new deal.

“We would like to extend our sincere thank you to Hima Cement who two years ago were coming into football for the first time but trusted us,” explained Ssenkakya, who together with other club officials hosted a team from Hima Cement led by Moses Kebba, the

Marketing and innovations head. A stadium tour took place before a brief meeting that reviewed the previous contract.

“It’s indeed a glorious opportunity for us to partner with such a great club, two big brands will undoubtedly take each other to greater heights,” Kebba told the club website.

The meeting was among others attended by Charles Mugasa –the Hima Marketing and sponsorship boss, Wycliff Luyombya –the Brand Manager Vipers and Robert Ssentongo –Vipers Sponsorship and Promotions Manager. Vipers is also sponsored by Roofings Limited, DFCU bank and ST. Mary SS, Kitende.
