Walusimbi Tells Express Fans What They Should Expect From Him
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

A few days ago, Uganda Premier League side Express FC unveiled ‘all-round’ defender Enock Walusimbi as their new signing ahead of the 2020/21 football season.

Walusimbi who joins Express from another Premier League side Bright Stars is believed to be a ‘big signing’ for the Red Eagles by club head coach Wasswa Bossa. He now hopes to live to the hype as he assures fans of good times ahead.

“First of all I am hoping to improve my talent in this great team. I know next season will be a good one for me and the entire team so the fans should expect a lot,” Walusimbi said in an interview with the club’s media team.

“In this coming season or the next one we are going to win a trophy or two. I know the team is very good and they will deliver,” Walusimbi admitted adding that; “we shall work hard so that we make our fans and officials very happy.”
Walusimbi has also expressed his delight in joining the team and has further opened up on his move.

“I am so happy to have joined this big club with a rich history, great players, good technical team and good officials.
Everything at Express is so good and it was easy to make a decision to join this team,” Walusimbi said adding that he is indebted to coach Bossa and the club at large for giving him the opportunity to play for the Wankulukuku based side.

Walusimbi spent the past three seasons at his former club Bright Stars. He also guided the Buganda Province team to the 2019 FUFA Drum title and his experience in the game will benefit the team.

Dubbed Lucio, Walusimbi is the 15th signing for the club and with the new season pushed a month back from 17th October, the Red Eagles will hope that FUFA clears them for training as soon as possible.
