FUFA Women Super League (WSL)
Wednesday Results
She Corporate FC 1-1 Rines SS WFC
Olila High School WFC 1-0 Uganda Martyrs WFC

Thursday Result
FC Tooro Queens 0-1 Kawempe Muslim Ladies FC

Matchday 11 of the FUFA Women Super League started with surprises especially for the title chasing teams, failing to secure maximum points.

Table leaders She Corporate FC failed to negotiate past a resilient Rines side in the game played on Wednesday at MUBS Arena, Nakawa.

Despite taking the lead through Favor Nambatya who converted from the spot after a foul on Ronah Regina Nantege in the box, the Sharks failed to hold onto the lead allowing Rines SS to fight back.

Second half substitute Yuster Kayesu headed home at the hour mark to help Rines salvage a point and move off the base of the table.

The Wakiso based outfit is now second from bottom on 7 points, one ahead of She Maroons FC.

She Corporate FC on the other hand kept their unbeaten and remained top of the log with 25 points.

In Soroti, Olila High School WFC defeated Uganda Martyrs WFC to put a halt on their recent incredible run that had seen them win three games on the bounce.

Grace Aluka scored from the spot to guide Olila to victory and take his scoring tally to 7. She currently leads the scoring charts.

The result meant Uganda Martyrs dropped from 2nd to 3rd on 19 points same as Kampala Queens who have a better goal difference. Olila on the other side remained 5th with 15 points.

Kawempe Muslim Ladies who had failed to win in their last three outings edged FC Tooro Queens at Buhinga Stadium in Fort Portal City to return to winning ways.

Skipper Aisha Nantongo scored the lone goal of the game to help the Valley Warriors claim their 4th win of the season. They stay put in 6th place on 14 points.

FC Tooro Queens on the other hand continue to struggle, having managed just one win from 11 games this season and currently 7th on the table with just 9 points.

Matchday 11 action will continue on Saturday with three games on card. Wounded Uganda Martyrs WFC visit Rines SS WFC, Lady Doves will be at home to UCU Lady Cardinals in a repeat of last season’s final while bottom placed She Maroons make a trip to Kabojja to face Kampala Queens.
