YMCA Comprehensive are looking to make it two wins on the trot when they travel to Bugema University this Thursday for their third group A match of the Pepsi University Football League. YMCA are second on the group with 3 points from 2 games while Bugema University are third with 2 points from similar games. A win for either side will send them top of the table pending the results of Nkumba University’s visit to Bishop Stuart University in Mbarara. YMCA Coach Katwe Allan says although Bugema are good they can be defeated. “Bugema are a hard team to play especially at their home. They like to possess the ball and have very good field positioning. We shall need to be very disciplined and extra careful at the back while making sure we take full advantage of any opportunities that come along,” Katwe noted. For Bugema University coach Nyanzi Medhi, the game is a must win especially since they are playing from home. “This is a game we need to win to go top of the table. We shall be playing from home and need to reward our fans for all their support,” he said. League action continues on Friday with St. Lawrence University (SLAU) hosting Gulu University and on Saturday, Uganda Martyrs University (UMU) host Islamic University In Uganda (IUIU). Sunday’s match between Bishop Stuart University and Nkumba University has been postponed to Monday.
