Uganda Boxing Federation has helped National team players (The Bombers) with Soap and Masks help them in this time of COVID-19
These Items were handed to the Bombers team Captain on Saturday 27th, March and UBF offices, Lugogo.
“We have supported our Boxers (Bombers) with these things to help them stay out of danger.” Stated Moses Muhangi, the president Uganda Boxing Federation.
“We want to keep in touch witht hem(Bombers) and keep training because we don’t want them to lose fitness and weight. Added Muhangi.
Talking about the postponement of the Oympics, Muhangi said” It’s an opportunity for us and the Bombers to keep training and preparing for the championship.
“On behalf of the Bombers, thank the Federation for thinking about us even when we are not in the field” Said Shadir Musa Bwogi, the Captain Bombers.
National team, the Bombers ( 24 Players), coaches (10) and team Manager are the beneficiaries with each getting a Carton of Soap and UBF specialized masks.
These Items will be supplied by National team Manager, Zebra “Mando” Ssenyange.
Following President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni directives, all sporting activities were suspended for a period of 32 days meaning Boxing is also affected
