CAF African Schools Championship: Semifinalists confirmed as group phase is successfully concluded

CAF African Schools Championship-Uganda 2022

Final Group Games

Group A
Mukono Kings High School 2-0 Boston High School
Jinja SS 4-1 Buddo SS

Group B
Royal Giants High School 3-0 Amus College School
Dynamic SS 3-0 Kibuli SS

Semifinals
Royal Giants High School vs Standard High School
Mukono Kings High School vs Dynamic SS

The group phase of the ongoing CAF African Schools Championship-Uganda officially came to an end on Monday.

The end of group business meant confirmation of the four teams that will compete at the semifinal stage.

Royal Giants High School, Dynamic SS, Standard High School and Mukono Kings High School progressed through the last four.

In the final group games played on Monday, Royal Giants High brushed aside Amus College, winning 3-0 to lead group B with maximum points.

The Mityana side had earlier beaten Dynamic SS, St. Mary’s Boarding School-Kitende and Kibuli SS.

Dynamic SS settled for second spot with 9 points after overcoming Kibuli SS in their final group game.

Mukono Kings High School also ended Group A with maximum points (12) after easing past Boston High School with a 2-0 result.

In the dead rubber game between Jinja SS and Buddo SS, the former won 4-1.

The semifinals and final will be played on Tuesday at FUFA Technical Centre, Njeru.

The Champion will represent Uganda at the Zonal CAF African Championship in December this year.
