KCCA FC host Libya’s Abu Salim in the second leg of the second qualifier round of the CAF Confederation Cup at St Mary’s Stadium, Kitende
Visitors Abu Salim SC were 3-1 winners in the first leg played in Tunisia.
KCCA FC will need to score two unanswered goals to progress to the group stages.
In the event the visitors score a goal, KCCA FC will need to score four goals or score three and push the game to spot kicks and come out victorious in order to qualify to the group stages.
Abu Salim SC eliminated Tunisia’s Olympique Beja to make it to this stage while KCCA FC were handed a bye in the first round of the qualifiers
KCCA FC Manager Sergio Daniel Traguil will surely need his troops firing from all cylinders if the first leg is to be overturned on Saturday 30th September 2023.
Both clubs have met once in history with Abu Salim SC winning the tie 3-1 winners in the first leg of the continental meet.
According to KCCA FC website, Shaban Muhammad returned to full training and is part of the match day squad to face Abu Salim SC.
New signings Kizza Mustafa and Emmanuel Loki will not feature against Abu Salim SC as the pair were signed after the registration window for this round had closed.
Musitafa Mujuzi is suspended after the center half was sent off in the first leg for a second bookable offence.
