All is set for the 2019 East Africa Badminton Challenge that is due October 4-6 at Lugogo Arena.
This year’s championship is expected to be even bigger and better after receiving Shs50m sponsorship package from City Tyres on Thursday.
Uganda Badminton Association (UBA) Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Simon Mugabi revealed that there are many local and foreign entries for the three-day championship.
The participation will go for U10, U13, U19, professionals, Universities, Corporates, Indians and Chinese –a category that has been added this year. Seven countries from East Africa, India and China have confirmed participation.
