Midfielder Andama Junior who recently signed a four-year contract with newly promoted Uganda Premier League (UPL) outfit Arua Hill SC says that joining the side is a huge boost to his career, possibly a dream come true.

Andama joins the Kongolo family from Calvary FC following his successful stint at the FUFA Big League outfit where he finished as the club’s top scorer in 2020/21 season with 5 goals in 14 games.

Andama was also vital for Calvary FC in the 2020 season when he scored three goals to help the Midigo side earn promotion from the Regional League to the Big League.

For Andama, a move to the top tier outfit like Arua Hill is something he has been waiting for as he seeks to develop his career.

“Moving to Arua Hill is a dream come true for me and I knew I was going to make it because I’ve been working hard for it and here I am where I wanted to be,” Andama told Arua Hill media.

“I was working hard to play in a top level and being a fan of Doves All Stars (Arua Hill’s former name) back then, I had dreams of playing for this club and now the chance has come,” Andama noted adding that his season at Calvary was brilliant as he learnt a lot and gained experience which will benefit him at his new club.

For Andama, he’s ready to learn from players at the club as he readies to fight for the badge and win silverware in the due course.

According to the club, Andama’s squad number will be revealed immediately after assembling of the whole team is completed.
