Uganda has reached twenty two (22) FIFA referee number after three more referees received their equipment on Wednesday at the FUFA House, Mengo.
The three new referees on the FIFA list are Diana Murungi from Kitara Region , Florence Ayaro from North East and Kenneth Kawagga a Beach Soccer Referee.
While handing over the equipment, the Chairman Uganda Football Referees Association (UFRA) Ronnie Kalema cautioned the referees to put the equipment to proper use since not every referee has the privilege to acquire such items.
Kalema confirmed that the trio brings a total number of Ugandan FIFA Referees to 22. “You need to put the equipment to proper use because you are amongst the few chosen ones in Uganda,” noted Kalema.
The Full list of Ugandan FIFA Referees 2019:
Referees (Men): Miiro Brian Nsubuga, Mashood Ssali, Alex Muhabi, Sabilla Ali Chelengat and Oloya William.
Assistant Referees (Men): Mark Ssonko, Dick Okello, Ronald Katenya, Lee Okello, Musa Ngobi Balikowa and Isa Masembe.
Referees (Women): Shamirah Nabadda, Diana Murungi and Florence Ayaro
Assistant Referees (Women): Lydia Nantabo Wanyama, Catherine Cynthia Nagadya, Marex Nakitto Nkumbi and Jane Mutonyi.
Beach Soccer: Ivan Kintu Bayige, Shafic Mugerwa, Muhammad Ssenteza and Keneddy Bazirio Kawagga
