Next Pro Sports signs Proline’s Kirya

Next Pro Sports Management Agency has announced the signing of Kirya Gerald, a football player currently with the FUFA BIG League outfit Proline FC.

The agency will be representing the player in all income-generating activities rising from his occupation as a professional footballer.

Kirya joined Proline in 2020 and made his league and club debut in
a 4-0 win vs Kigezi Home Boyz in a Fufa Big League match at the MTN Omondi Stadium on 25th March 2021.

Next Pro Sports Founder & CEO Sultan Suliz speaks highly of the new signing and said; “Gerald Kirya is one of the big young talents coming through the ranks in the country at the moment and to be part of his career is something we at Next Pro Sports are very excited about.”

Kirya had an impressive debut season with the club, making 12 appearances in 20 available games helping the side earn 4 clean sheets as he registered 1 assist in the process.

Kirya is a talented & versatile player with great passing skills, on-ball condence & strong leadership skills who can play in the Defensive Mideld, Left Back & Left Winger positions.

On signing with NextPro Sports, Kirya Gerald remarked; “I’m delighted to join NextPro
Sports, I feel they are the right team to guide me to the next level in my career.”

Before joining Proline, Kirya was part of the Vipers SC Junior Team from 2015 where he won the FUFA Juniors League in 2016 & 2018. Kirya was also the Vice Captain of the Uganda Cubs (U-17 national team) which took part in the CECAFA U-17 Championships in 2018 where they finished in
third place.
