URA FC have unveiled defender Derrick Ndahiro as their latest signing.

The left-back joins URA FC as a free agent on a three-year deal from SC Villa.

His signing was confirmed by the Tax Collectors on Thursday, August 12.

“URA FC can confirm the acquisition of Derrick Ndahiro’s services on a three-year contract from SC Villa.” URA announced on their website.

Ndahiro spent three year at SC Villa where he was the undisputed starter at left-back.

He started his football career in 2017 with Kamwokya United before moving to Villa Park in 2018.

Speaking on Thursday, Ndahiro said he was happy to join URA where he hopes to improve his game.

“I am quite happy to be here at URA FC. The club is one of the best in the country and am looking forward to playing at the top level and improving my game while here.” Ndahiro said.

Ndahiro is the second signing for URA in the current transfer window joining fellow defender Simon Baligeya on the list of new recruits.

He is expected to fill the void left by Brian Majwega who joined KCCA FC last month.

URA finished second in the Uganda Premier League last season.
