In a notable move, Hassan Mubiru has transitioned from KCCA FC to SC Villa, one of their chief competitors.
The promising young talent has inked a three-year deal with the Jogoos, joining the elite group of players who have represented all three VEK clubs, having previously developed at Express FC.
“Welcome Hassan Mubiru,” the club announced on social media, accompanied by a photo of the former U20 international.
This signing reunites Mubiru with interim coach Morley Byekwaso, who originally brought him to KCCA.
Mubiru is among several new additions to Villa, including Denis Kaka Omony, Kato Ssemayange, Isaac Mpagi, Johnson Ssenyonga, and Najib Iga.
He is expected to make his debut against the Uganda Cranes Select side in the upcoming Fufa Super 8 match on Friday.
