The 2020/21 Stanbic Uganda Cup gets underway today, Monday, April 5th with seven games lined up.

According to the local football governing body, Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA), the round of 32 clashes that kick off shortly will see six games broadcasted live on national broadcaster UBC between Monday and Sunday.

One game will be broadcasted per day between Monday, 5th April to Friday, 9th April and on Sunday, 11th April 2021.

UBC will hit the ground running today (Monday) and will show live the match between nine-time champions SC Villa and Ndejje University FC at Bombo Military grounds and the Tuesday game between cup holders Proline FC and MYDA FC at Lugogo will also be shown on TV.

On Wednesday, the game between former (2018) champions KCCA FC and Nyamityobora at Lugogo will be shown on TV as well as the Thursday clash between BUL FC and Blacks Power of Bukedea at Kyabazinga Stadium.

Busoga United and 2016 winners Vipers SC will be in action on Friday at FUFA Technical Center and the match will be on TV as well as the Big League affair on Sunday between Mbale Heroes and Gadafi FC at Mbale Municipal Stadium.

Last year’s Uganda Cup wasn’t held due to COVID-19 disruptions. Big League side Proline FC who got relegated from the top tier league last season are the cup holders.
