The Uganda Cranes’ journey to the 2024 TotalEnergies African Nations Championship (CHAN) takes another step forward as the team begins residential training today, January 13, 2025, under the guidance of Head Coach Paul Joseph Put.
This follows three days of rigorous non-residential sessions aimed at sharpening the squad. The provisional team has now been trimmed to 28 players who will camp at Cranes Paradise Hotel in Kisasi to intensify preparations.
Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania will co-host CHAN 2024 from February 1 to 28, marking a significant moment for the region. The much-anticipated draw to determine the tournament’s groups is scheduled for Wednesday, January 15, in Nairobi, Kenya.
