Express vs Mbarara City (Live)

Express will hope to return to winning ways after the deserved 2-0 loss away to a far better Vipers SC at Kitende on Friday. the Rd Eagles host Ankole Lions in a tricky league tie this Tuesday at Betway Muteesa II stadium, Wankulukuku.

After the loss, Express Coach George Ssemwogerere referred to his club as a Vitz car which was racing with a Subaru car (Vipers) that it could not beat. You cannot compare a Vitz to a Subaru.

We are a Vitz and they are a Subaru and the results of such a race are known,” he said to the disappointment of the club loyal fans. Ahead of their home tie against Mbarara City, the Red Eagles seek revenge against the 3-1 first round loss while Coach Ssemwogerere will also be looking for his first victory at home since taking charge.

Express welcome back play maker Frank Tumwesigye Zaga who sat out against mother club while left back Disan Galiwango also returns from suspension.

It is the fourth tie between the two sides –with the Ankole Lion wining both of their home ties whilst Express winning at Wankulukuku.

Mbarara City that beat Paidha Black Angels on Friday are third on log with 39 points, 9 below leaders KCCA while the Betway-sponsored Red Eagles are 11th with 28 points, five above lower neighbors and rivals SC Villa.
