Handicap 17 Chinese golfer, Wu Wei Ling pulled returned 43 points to win the 2019 Netherlands Business Golf Cup on Saturday at Uganda Golf Club Kitante to take home a return air ticket to any destination of his choice in Europe courtesy of Dutch airline KLM as the airline celebrates 100 years of service.

Wei Ling was awarded by Netherlands ambassador to Uganda H.E Henk Jan Bakker during the 19th hole experience.

Wei Ling noted that he was happy with the win and looks forward to next year’s edition. Although stableford mode of play not favoring low handicapped golfers, handicap 4 player Martha Babirye pulled 36 points as the Women’s elite player.

Ambassador Bakker hailed Uganda-Netherlands business relations which have created over 5,000 jobs for Ugandans. Dfcu, Sadolin Paints and Vivo Energy Limited also supported the tournament that was graced with Dutch theme night –with revelers donning outfits with orange gestures and Dutch entertainment.
