Yasin Mugabi, a former player of KCCA FC, has rejoined the club, this time as a coach in the goalkeeping department. Mugabi signed a three-year contract and will collaborate with the current goalkeeper coach, Moses Oloya, to develop and enhance the skills of the club’s goalkeepers.
Having previously played for KCCA FC during the 2014–15 season, Mugabi brings a wealth of experience from his time with various clubs in Uganda and Zambia. His role will focus on strengthening the goalkeeping unit and nurturing talents to reach international standards.
For the 2024–25 season, KCCA FC has three registered goalkeepers: Anthony Emojong Okimaru, Mutwalibi Mugolofa, and young prospect Humphrey Oyirwoth. In addition to his coaching duties with the first team, Mugabi will also be involved in training goalkeepers at the club’s soccer academy.
