Betway Kobsβ mission to win the 2018/19 Nile Special Rugby Premiership title continues this weekend with a date against Dusupay Warriors in a Legends Rugby Club derby.
Since losing to Heathens on match day four, the Betway-sponsored Kobs have enjoyed running into rivals defenses to the try line.
However, they face a rejuvenated Warriors side that has swiftly transitioned from relegation material last season, to title contenders this campaign.
Betway Kobs won 49-20 at home against Buffaloes last weekend while Warriors unbeaten run was ended by reigning champions Pirates after a 05-48 mauling at the same turf.
It is notable that Warriors will be eager to regain their winning touch whilst Kobs eager to continue the title hunt. βIt will be a very tough game because Warriors have come of age. However, our mission is to win the game and keep on track with the table leaders,ββ Kobs Prop, Collin Kimbowa noted.
Kobs have scored the most tries in the campaign so far and are second with 30 points, two behind log leaders Hima Cement Heathens. Warriors are third with 27 points, four ahead of fourth placed Black Pirates.
