With only two games left to wind down the 2021 Rugby Premier League season, Warriors and Rams are both yet to win a single match after seven outings in the post-lockdown campaign.
The two sides face-off on Saturday, 1st May 2021 in a matchday eight lunch time (2 p.m) clash at Legends Grounds in Kampala, a fixture that could possibly determine which team finishes last in this shortened version of the league.
The 2021 league will only run in one round and no team will be relegated or promoted to the any tier hence Warriors and Rams will both be aware of safety no matter what happens on Saturday.
Saturday hosts, Warriors have no point in the league while Rams have only two points but the Saturday meet is no ordinary fixture for both sides. Warriors are at the rock bottom of the table of the 10-team league while Rams are 9th.
In a bid to avoid finishing last in this season’s campaign, Rams coach Richard Lumu says that he will be on the team sheet as center and has promised that they will come good at Legends.
“We are ready for the game and and we are coming for a win. We are done with the final training and everyone is in good shape,” a positive Lumu said.
Lumu added that the major problem they’ve been facing is lack of squad depth since most of their players are students who are also affected by curfew.
Rams will face Impis in the season finale after the Warriors clash, a match Lumu says they want to win as well. Warriors on the other hand will face Buffaloes in their final game.

In the other matchday eight clashes, log leaders and title favorites Kobs (33 points) will be up against away at Makerere Graveyard against Impis who are eighth on the table with nine points.
In the other crucial fixture, second placed Black Pirates (30 points) will be at home (Kings Park, Bweyogerere) against fourth placed Jinja Hippos who are fourth on the table with 20 points.
