Uganda Cup Round of 32
Wednesday, 07th April
-KCCA FC 4-2 Nyamityobora FC
-Arua Hill SC 3-2 UPDF FC
-Paidha Black Angels 3-2 Bright Stars FC

KCCA FC overcame a spirited Nyamityobora FC side 4-2 in the first leg of the Uganda Cup round of 32.

A goal each from Bright Anukani, Sadat Anaku, Julius Poloto and Sam Ssenyonjo did the trick for the 10-time joint record holders of the competition.

Nyamityobora captain Clinton Komugisha scored both of Nyamityobora’s goals on the day.

KCCA raced into a two-goal lead inside the opening 10 minutes with Anukani and Poloto striking.

Komugisha responded but Anaku’s fierce drive ensured KCCA restored their two-goal caution at the break.

Just after the break, Komugisha struck again setting the scene for Ssenyonjo to net late in the contest and see KCCA take a comfortable lead into the second leg that will be played on the weekend.

In Zombo, Paidha Black Angels overcame Bright Stars 1-0 thanks to a Dickson Oyirwoth goal.

After a scoreless first 45 minutes, the midfield scored just after the restart and attempts by the visitors to restore purity were fruitless.

The other days game saw saw Arua Hill SC edge UPDF FC 3-2 in a five-goal thriller.

Rashid Kawawa, Mike Kawooya and Alfred Leku netted once each for Arua Hill while Alex Kitata and Bright Joseph were on the scoresheet for the visitors.

Kawawa broke the deadlock on 16 minutes after collecting from Gaddafi Gadinho.

Kawooya then scored the second on 35 minutes off a header from Emman Mutebi’s corner.

At the stroke of halftime, Alex Kitata pulled one back for the visitors to put the come back on.
